An affirmation is a positive statement of what we desire to achieve, or wish to be. Affirmations keep you focused on what you intend and help to imprint it in your mind.
Your thoughts and your words are very powerful
Never say what you don’t want, as this is a negative affirmation and it will occur as you focus on the negative. Always say what you do want and say it in the present tense as if it has already occurred.
Notice that most of our thoughts are negative chatter in our heads. These are negative affirmations which can get in the way of success.
Positive affirmations work when we believe and know that our thoughts create our experience.
